Concept Explorer Inquiry Form

The information you provide here helps us understand your goals, constraints, and priorities so that we can begin a meaningful conversation about the project's context. This is important because it helps frame our exploration of meaningful design options and identify early decision drivers that directly relate to the solutions you are willing to investigate.

This service focuses on investigation, testing ideas through various concepts, and understanding the potential of different solutions.

Construction-ready drawings for a building permit are not included in the Bronze Level Service.

Use this form to request a Concept Explorer consult. This stage is ideal when you want to explore options and test “what-if” scenarios before you commit to consolidating the design and the preparation of the construction ready drawings.

Important: If you don’t yet have documented confirmation of site information (boundary survey/topographic survey), zoning/by-law constraints, or a budget reality-check, we may recommend a Design Feasibility & Risk Review first to reduce uncertainty and avoid false options.

If these are not documented, that’s normal. It simply changes the best first step (often feasibility before deep concept work).

If you have documents (boundary survey/topographic survey, municipal emails, existing plans), include a share link. Attachments can be sent after we reply.

What happens next
  • We'll review your information and determine the best starting point (Concept Explorer versus Feasibility and Risk Review first).
  • If appropriate, we'll provide a brief outline of the information needed and recommend a clear next step-path toward Schematic Drawings, and then onto the construction / building rermit-ready documentation.
Note: building permit pathways vary from municipality to municipality, the required consultants needed for the project, including other regulatory authorities. We will clarify what applies to your project.
