Our workflow is the difference. We put in the time and effort to create a digital twin of the building: the result is clarity, control, and confidence at every step. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then seeing is believing and worth every penny saved.

Our digital twin isn't a conceptual massing model. It's a true model built from the ground up: footings, reinforcing steel, foundation walls, waterproofing, interior and exterior slabs, framing assemblies, roof systems, sheathing, trim, siding, masonry, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, and interior finishes. We work to provide you with the information you need on quantities of materials before they're ordered. You're in control, because you own the data, not the suppliers.

We pre-test roof and floor truss layouts for fit before you give the go-ahead to have them manufactured. Rather than hoping for the best, you're in a position of certainty, the best possible outcome for your project.

Three Projects We Know Inside and Out

Project Type 01

Aging Parent / Accessibility / Aging in Place

You want your parent to feel at home, not like a visitor. Whether it's an ADU, a garage conversion, or a main-floor reconfiguration, we develop a layout that's safe, simple, and dignified, where the accommodations feel like home rather than a quick-fix solution.

That starts with understanding the physical realities of the space: ceiling heights for future lift tracks, hallway and stair widths for mobility aids, and entry grades for step-free access. We identify these constraints early so the design works long-term, not just on paper.

Project Type 02

Basement Apartment / Secondary Suite / ADU

You want a functional unit that can be approved and built without wasting time on something non-conforming. We build a digital twin of the existing building first, study it, and then coordinate the new design to work with what you've got. Your municipality enjoys the clarity because we're providing a solution that works, because it's based on what exists, what stays the same, and how it will differ. The new mapped to the old so it works.

We're able to identify hard stops early: structural limitations, zoning, egress requirements, room areas, window sizes, fire separations, floor and wall acoustic properties, etc. All of this before you commission drawings for an unbuildable project.

Project Type 03

Older Home Renovation / Cottage Conversion

Older homes hide surprises: structural nonconformance, unpermitted work, illegal DIY projects, outdated services, and inadequate thermal insulation. The digital twin reconstructs the existing building first, providing the clarity needed before those surprises become show-stoppers or cascading change orders during construction.

We help you identify "known unknowns" early and use this information to manage the transition from old to new, so changes are planned, not reactive. Contractors love the predictability and certainty.

Most projects don't go off track because people don't care.

Can you just quote the drawings without building a digital twin?

No. If the existing building and key decisions aren't confirmed, the drawings created won't be reliable. Uncertainty usually shows up later as construction costs paid because of substitutions, delays, and rework. Do you work with my builder or trades?

Yes. Coordination is part of the point. Fewer assumptions means fewer surprises, and fewer surprises means fewer callbacks. We remain available during construction to clarify design intent and resolve interpretation questions quickly, so your builder's schedule doesn't stall waiting for answers. We'll even provide the relevant digital twin needed for use on-site.
